Heartfelt thanks

Hi there! Today I’m sharing a thanks card using my darling flower set.

Spring is coming! I am so pleased to see many gorgeous flowers bloom recently in Taiwan.

So I get many inspiration to create my cards.

I wanted to create an abstract and unique background, because I was inspired by ric#80 - Nonoo. There are some abstract watercolour pattern on the model's dress.

I started off with watercolour paper. I got a bowl of water, and drop a little black ink. 

While seeing some black inking pattern on water surface, I put a watercolour paper on it.

Then, I dried the paper with heat gun. I was pleased with how it turned out! There were some beautiful inking pattern on the paper.

For the front theme, I die cut a tag. These flowers and leaves were colored and fussy cut.

I then adhered these flowers and leaves on the tag, stamped the sentiment with black ink.

Hi everyone, It's Wei Wei.

It's time for Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge again!

This week our theme is Anything Goes! How exciting isn't it ?

Here is my DT card.

For this card, I made the pink and white stripe pattern using masking technique.

I adhered some washi tape over the card front for making technique, using a blending tool and VersaCraft ink to apply color.

To create a flower tag, I stamped some flowers and leaves, cut them out, and attached them to the tag.

To finish of, I embellished my card with ribbon, a few sequins and pearls.

I love the way my card turned out. So lovely ! Hope you love it too.

I’m so excited to share a card made with pertty cake stamps (from STAMPlorations Vignette: It's Your Day).

First, I embossed the sentiments with clear embossing power, 

and then added some watercolor. 

Next, I stamped the cake image with black ink on white panel. 

Because the background is very colorful, so I don't give the cake bright colors. 

Then, I added two black panels beside the white panel.

Hi, It's Wei Wei here with a flower tag card!

I must to say I love flower stamp so much!

For this card, I cut a tag from the white paper, inserting it back in at a slightly tilted angle. 

Then, I attached the white paper to a purple cardbase.

I stamped some flowers and leaves with VersaCraft ink (Perfect Plumeria, Pretty Petunia, Purple Hydrangea, Spring Pansy, Aloe Vera) and Memento ink (Cottage Ivy). 

Finally, I stamped "Thinking of you", and embellished my card with ribbon and a few sequins.

Day 3 ARTplorations Stencil Blog Hop

Hi, It's Wei Wei. I am so glad that you are here.

 Today is the last day of STAMPlorations stencil blog hop, but we still have lots of  inspiration! 

Here is my card:

For this card, I showcased two amazing ARTPlorations stencils (ARTPlorations Stencils - Bubbles, ARTplorations stencil - Botanical Lush)

To create my background, I tried dry-embossing with a stencil( ARTplorations stencil - Botanical Lush). Stencils can be used as embossing folders! Maybe you can try it!

Next, I put Bubbles stencil on a paper, adding bright blue color with blending tool. To create layer inking effect, I moved the bubble stencil, adding deep blue color.

Finally, I printed Single Rose digi stamp from STAMPlorations, colored with Copic maker, and cut it out. 

I also stamped the Subway Art Builders: Dare sentiment, and then adorned a black pearl!

Today I would like to sharing a quick and easy way to make backgrounds using stencil.

I worked with the ARTplorations stencil - Botanical Lush, and added the spring colors with ink blending tool.

Then, I chose black cardstock to pup out the colorful stencil image. 

To embellish my card, I heat embossed the sentiment(STAMPlorations Trendy Feathers) using gold embossing powder and adhered several orange gems.

Here is my card~

First, I put ARTPlorations Stencils - Shutters on the kraft, 

and stamped VersaCraft white ink on it.

After white ink dried, I added a verity of colors on it with ink blending tool. 

In this way, you can see a white layer inking and other colors inking.

To finished it off , I stamped typewriter and sentiment from STAMPlorations with black ink.

Hi friend, Welcome to STAMPlorations Monthly Challenge #17 (March)!

This month our challenge theme is Stamps & Stencil!

Here is my DT card.

For this card, I started by inking up the ARTPlorations Shutters stencil with yellow and orange colours Distress Inks on white cardstock.

Next, I stamped Tree Silhouettes with different green colours, 

and I stamped these trees on a plastic sheet with black ink. 

Then, I put the plastic sheet on the cardstock. In this way, I can created the shadow of trees.
