Hi, It's time to share another STAMPlorations weekly sketch with you!
Here's our gorgeous sketch:
And here is my DT card:
This card features Botanical Lush Stencil along with Subway Art Builders: Dare stamp set.
I started by creating the front panel which is filled with flowers and leaves. I put the Botanical Lush Stencil on the green paper, sponged with white Versa Magic ink, and heat set the ink until it was dry.
To add more white effect on the edge of flowers and leaves, I heat embossed the edge with VersaMask pencil and white embossing power.
I then colored those flowers and leaves with color pencils.
For my background, I put the stencil on another green cardbase, applied a mowed lawn Distress Ink . The green cardbase was also mounted to a white layering card to tie in the colors from the flowers and leaves.
Hope you play along with us!
Wei Wei --->You are here.
And we have a talented guest designer-
Thank you for standing by.
Have a nice day.
I'm honoured and thrilled to be playing alongside you and the DT for this challenge! Your card is pure delight, Wei Wei The combination of stencils, embossing, raising the floral panel and, of course, choosing the perfect sentiment to go along with your theme makes for an inspired and inspiring card. Love it!

This is a very clever and pretty way to use a stencil Wei Wei and I love the white embossed edge which makes it stand out beautifully. x
ReplyDeleteYour card is so full of summer, love the white on a green, it stands out and make the touches of blue and red very visible.
