Masking card

Hello! Happy Chinese New Year(February 18-23 ). 

May the New Year bring many good things and rich blessings to you and all those you love!

Today I have two cards using masking technique.

新年快樂~祝大家身體健康、心想事成、好運連連，
在此分享兩張運用masking技法的卡片。

                                                   First card:

I started by stamping a flower image with white ink on kraft. To give this flower a bit of shadow, I stamped the second layer with pink and red ink, and also added some colours by using watercolour pancils.

Next, I masked the first flower, stamped second flower.

Then, I added some leaves and fruits.

這張卡片上色的靈感來自中國水墨的牡丹，

通常畫牡丹都會先上白粉，

所以我也先上一層白色印泥當底，

然後再用粉紅、桃紅二次上色，大概是versamagic的印台比較不適用這樣用？

所以還是要利用色鉛筆補充細節。

花朵和葉子來自Avery Elle,字章則是Mama Elephant,很漂亮又很實用的兩款設計。

                                                Second card:

I think a little mouse sitting on a diamond is very fun and a symbol of fortunate, because in Chinese's culture, house shrew (Suncus murinus) may bring big fortunate and money for people. xx

I started by stamping a diamond image, masked it, and stamped a mouse above.

After colouring them with copic maker, I covered them with Glossy Accents. 

Once they dried, I used an ink blending tool to apply sun rays background with Distress Ink.

這張錢鼠帶財的設計，用了兩種masking技法，
鑽石和老鼠是用普通的masking，直接剪一張紙覆蓋在鑽石上，再蓋上老鼠。
等到上完色後，再利用Glossy Accents塗滿圖案，
待乾掉之後，再用Distress Ink上光線。
有一種恭喜中獎，閃閃發光的感覺~

Hi everyone, I

t's time for Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge again!

This week our theme is Make your Mark!

your entry MUST contain the use of anything that can make a mark - Stampin' Write, Copics, Promarkers, Painting, Chalks, Watercolours, Sponges, Stencils, Masks etc etc

Here is my DT card.

I started by applying a large amount of water on the watercolour paper.

Before the water dried, I randomly added purple, blue, green, yellow and black colour on it, 

and then let they blend together.

After all the colour dried, I embossed the star images with white and sliver embossing power.

To make this card more fun and interactive, 

I stamped the arrow and fixed it with a sliver brad.

In this way, you can slide the arrow around the heart image.

Finally, I also embossed the sentiment with white embossing power.

Hi everyone! Welcome to back.

It's time for STAMPloration Sketch Challenge28!

This time we have an awesome sketch with you.

Here is my DT card :

I featured two stamp sets from STAMPlorations(Subway Art Builders: Dare and Trendy Feathers). 

For my background, I stamped the Subway Art Builders: Dare with Memento ink (Rose Bud), and embossed Trendy Feathers with clear embossing power. 

I also added some colors on the edge by using Distress Ink (Fired Brick, Picked Raspberry).

Then, I cut a ellipse, stamped two feathers and cut out. 

Finally, I adhered two feathers to the ellipse and also adorned some pearls and lace.

Hi, another post today.

This card is inspired by PTI Anniversary Celebration and Virginia's view challenge.

For my background, I stamped lots of dots and embossed them with golden embossing power. 

As you can see, I used the Papertreyink die and made it to be a shaker.

To add more metallics element, I die a golden 'happy' sentiment and put it on the shaker.

Little love

Hello and welcome. Today, I would like to sharing a CAS card with you.

I think it is fun to add fun element to a simple and clean card.

For my card, I wanted to create a scene just like hanging clothes on the line.

So I just stamped the sentiment with black ink, die cut a felt heart and then gave the heart a small clip made from paper.

To add some fun to the sentiment, I stamped two little birds with pink ink. Isn’t that couple singing love song the cutest?

Hi, Today I would like to share this bright card with you.

For my cards today I used the flowers and leaves from Avery Elle. 

I started by applying water and then stamped the flower with red distress ink.

 I used watercolor pen to blend the color and add some deep color. This way make the flower look more dimensional.

Before stamped the second orange flower and leaves, I masked the first flower. 

And I used the same way to blend the color together.

Finally, I stamped the sentiment with black ink.

Enjoy the small moments

Hi, It's Wei Wei. It's getting biting cold recently. Hope you all well. 

I stay home this weekend because of the bad weather. 

But I really enjoy this small moments and would like to share this CAS card with you.

Having a cup of hot tea is the best thing in the cold winter.

I sipped my tea, savored the stillness, and created my card!

I started by cutting the cup and colour it with blended inks. 

Next, I created the teabag by using sliver thread and a piece of pattern paper.

To give the cup a fun shadow effect, I added white embossing paste. 

Finally, I stamped the sentiment and painted the steam with copic maker.

冷風颼颼的天氣，做了一張應景的卡片。
茶杯的刀模是貝登堡產品，然後再用上色海綿推色。
為了不讓茶杯太單調，加了最近很喜歡的paste技巧在杯底，
看起來像桌巾，也可以當成影子。
蠻滿意這樣的效果。

Hi friend, Welcome to STAMPlorations Monthly Challenge #16 (February)!

This month our challenge theme is Stamps & Hearts!

Here is my DT card.

I used STAMPlorations Vignette: Trendy Feathers stamp set again!

I used layered embossed resist technique to create this card. 

Firstly, I white embossed a feather onto watercolor paper. I sprayed the paper with water and painted the heart image with watercolour. 

Next, I Stamp feather with MEMENTO Ink(rose budcolour), and clear embossed it. To create layer-coloured effect, I added some watercolour again. Then, I repeated embossing and watercoluring until I satisfied the effect.

Finally, I adorned the black panel which has white embossed sentiment on it.

Hi everyone! It's time for another Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge!

This time the challenge theme is :

Here is my DT card.

First, I started by printing sponsor's image - Valentine Jar, coloured it with marker.

I decorated the image with some glitter. What a cute and sweet jar~

To create my background, I chose a red cardstock, and stamped Damask Wallpaper Background Stamp from JustRite using deep red ink. I love this inking effect.

Hi everyone! Hope you well.

It's time for STAMPloration Sketch Challenge27!

This time we have an awesome sketch with you. Hope you love this sketch and will play along!

I started by using Acrylic block stamping with watercolours to create my background.

 Next, I stamped two feathers from STAMPlorations(Vignette: Trendy Feathers) with memento ink, and cut them out.
 I love this feather stamp set so much! I think the feather stamp is different from others,
because there are lots of delicate patterned and words on the feather.
  I then tied up feathers with sliver thread, and tie a bow.
Finally, I decorated the edge with washi tape.

Hi, I created a card inspired by Papertrey Ink Make It Monday #199: Confetti Garlands.

Here is my card.

I have used the Papertreyink die which I cut out of purple cardstock and inlaid Alphabet into the cardstock. I then threaded my flower confetti on thread and secured them at the corners.
