Happy New Year

Hi~Today I would like to share a 'Happy New Year' card with you.

The firework theme is inspired by Inkspirational 's photo and CASology's light theme.
I started by cutting the circle.
To create my firework scene, I stamped the firework with purple and yellow ink, and embossed them with clear embossing power.
Then, I stamped the bear(from Paper Smooches), coloured it with Copic Maker,
and cut it out.

two sunflower card

Hi there, Today I would like to share two cards featuring the sunflower stamp.(This stamp is from PSX, and it is my first rubber stamp, sent from my mom, when I 9 year old. Maybe, It will become an antique? xx
I used this stamp to create two different flair card. it's interesting!

First up is watercolor style.

I started by brushing some water on the paper, and added bright yellow colour.
I let the water do the work for me...
.And I used stencil and deep yellow to create some flower image(I didn't wait to watercolour dry, because I wanted the stencil image integrate into the watercolour).
Then, I embossed the sunflower image with white embossing power, and gave the image some orange colour.
Finally, I added the sentiment with black ink.

Let’s take a look at the next card.

I just stamped the sunflower, flourish image and sentiment with black ink. I coloured the flower with Copic maker. Finally, I added some pearls which I applied orange colour (Copic maker) on them to match the colours of my card, as a finishing touch.

I started by printing the digital image, coloured it by using copic maker, and cut it out.
I used distress ink to create the background.

After they dried, I blended some blue and purple distress ink.
Then, I embossed some tree image, and I also used copic maker to paint some shadow of tree. It make this scene have more depth.

Merry Christmas

Hi, I would like to share a fun way to create a Christmas tag card!

The sketch of this card is inspired by CAS on Sunday,
and the sliver Christmas tree is from CASology and Simon says. The Christmas theme and pink, blue colour is inspired by Tag You're It.
I used some soft colour to create my watercolor-style background.
The element of the tree is Tinfoil sticker, I cut it to be a Christmas tree shape tag.
I added some sliver circle twine, and used the tree(it's a sticker) to fixed those twine.
It's very easy.
Then, I stamped the reindeer(from Paper Smooches), coloured it with Copic Maker,
and cut it out.
To add some fun, I added a red bow tie on the reindeer.
Finally, I decorated the card with some sliver gems.

Thank you for standing by.
Have a nice day.

polar lights

Hello! Today I am trying something a bit new technique and scene.
Since I have some distress ink, I think it would be a great opportunity for me to try some different scene, because I always use distress ink to create blue starry night.
Today's card is polar lights!

This is my first time to create polar lights! I think that I still have much need to improve.
I started by stamping the tree using black ink on the card.
Then, I used yellow, green, purple, blue, black inks to create the scene.
Finally, I added some glitter as snow.

Thank you for standing by.
Have a nice day.

3 Christmas cards

Hi friends! It's Wei Wei. Today I would like to share my new stamp sets from Uniko Studio.
I love these stamp sets so much because  of their good quality and delicate design!
I can't wait for trying them!

I used the Rustic Christmas stamp set to create three Christmas cards. Each card has different style.

               First card:
I started by embossing the tree image with gold embossing power.

I also sprayed some perfect pearls on the tree to create sparkle.
Then, I created my background by stamping some sentiments and little cute images.
I love to create my own pattern paper, especially by using sentiment stamp!
Because it is a good way to get more life from any sentiment stamps.
After finishing the stamping, I brushed the card edge with distress ink.

          Second card:
I stamped the image by using white ink on the kraft, and stamped again with brown ink.
Then, I added the gold glitter on the tree. And I stamped the red birds and black sentiment.
To make the kraft pop out, I chose red card base.

                   Third card:
This is a watercolour looks card.
I started by embossing the tree image with clear embossing power.
Then I brushed some water on the paper, and added blue and green colour.
I let the water do the work for me and left it to dry.
After the colour dried, I embossed the tree with sliver embossing power.
I love the soft colour tone of this card, but there is a bit boring.
To add some fun, I added two red little birds.

Owl-Ways Winter

Hi friends! It's time for a new challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More
This week we have our Challenge #124 - CAS.
I hope you will play along!

Today's DT card, I am featuring our sponsor Stamp Art Designs' Image.
I love this Owl image. Something about little critter makes me very happy.
I started by printing this cute image which is called 'Owl-Ways Winter',
colored it with Copic maker and colour pencil, and then, cut it out.
Then, I blended some deep blue and purple ink to create my night sky background.
After that, I added some silver glitter for falling snow, and I twined some sliver thread on the background. I think it gives this really cool and special look to your card.
To remain my card clean and simple, I chose white card base,
didn't stamp any sentiment.

I hope you will join us in our challenge this week. Can't wait to see you there!
Thank you for standing by.
have a nice day.

LTSCB #43' s GDT card!

Hi friends! It's Wei Wei. I'm so glad to sharing a exciting news with you!
I am so honor to be the December Guest Designer for Love To Scrap! Challenge Blog
The theme for this challenge is LTSCB #43 - Shape Shift! (Create a shaped project - nothing square or rectangle) And there are two fabulous sponsors: Lacy Sunshine Stamps and A Day For Daisies.
Here is my GDT card.

Now, not every card has to have a card shape. How about a card shaped like a fan? I try a fan shaped card just like the photo.
I used the gorgeous digital image(Green Lady) from our sponsor A Day For Daisies.
I started by printing the digital image, used copic maker and watercolor to color the face, hair and face, and I embellished the hair with pearl and gold glitter.
To show off the elegance of the lady and her kimono, I used paper piecing technique, I used some pattern paper which is Japanese style.

I hope you feel inspired to create a shaped card and enter our LTSCB #43 - Shape Shift!

You have until December 14th to enter.

Thank you for standing by.
Have a nice day.
