Traveler’s notebook featuring Hip Kit Club 2019 July kits

Hi friends.
Today I have a Traveler’s notebook featuring beautiful 2019 July pocket life kit, embellishment kit and paper kit.

I loved the colors of Possibility Paper by PinkFresh Studio and wanted to focus on my traveler’s notebook. I tore two piece of that papers, used paper border punch to get some paper laces, and then adhered them to the top of my page. To add more interest and dimension, I adhered two HKC Exclusive decorative banners with foam tapes

I cut my photo with tag die cut and also cut a HKC journaling card into tag shape and layered it behind the photo. Then, I embellished photo with some HKC Exclusive floral die cuts. For the title, I fussy cut the “Best Holiday” from HKC journaling card.

Those three frames with number on the right side page were cutting from HKC journaling card. I thought the colors matched with florals on the left side page. I arranged them following numbers in sequence and added some stamping.

For the finishing touch, I added a bit of gold splatters.

Just love how this traveler’s notebook layout turned out. I hope this have inspired you to use the Hip Kit Club July kits to document your memories.

Wei Wei

【Interactive card process】SENDING YOU LOVE- LIGHT UP SEA CARD -Basic level 【機關卡片教學】創意LED發光卡片 - 基礎教學

Hi friends,
today I would like to share this adorable light up card using Chibitronics LEDs and Heffy Doodle Oceans of Love Clear Stamp Set.

For this card, I started by creating the ocean waves background with stitched wave dies. I also die cut a kraft paper to be the sand under the sea.

After layered the waves, I stamped those adorable sea critters in black ink, colored with markers and cut them out.

Here's the circuit sketch I used:

Then, I cut a line on the deep green wave so that the LEDs can light through.

I made process video to show you how to make the circuit, you can watch it over on my YouTube Channel.

That is all from my side today.
I hope you were inspired and give Chibitronics products a try!
Have a great day.

Thank you

Cards using Hip Kit Club 2019 July kits

Hi friends. today I have three cards using beautiful 2019 July pocket life kit, paper kit, cardstock paper kit and exclusive cut file.

For the first card, I grabbed light purple paper and folded it to make the card base. I covered the card with two smaller piece of pattern papers from Possibility Paper by PinkFresh Studio. I really love that double side patterned paper which is cobalt blue geometrical pattern on one side and other side features large, abstract brushstrokes in rainbow tones. The watercolor style inspirational sentiment is from the ephemera pack by Pinkfresh Studio. I layered the sentiment with HKC July Circle Background cut file. Then, I added a fussy cut floral from New Thoughts paper by PinkFresh Studio and also embellished some HKC Exclusive floral die cuts for the finishing touch.

For the second card, I chose pink paper and my card base.I fussy cut the big flower from One Fine Day Paper by PinkFresh Studio and added it onto the right side of card base. The dimensional white flowers are from HKC June Floral Clusters cut file. I layered them with foam tapes and added chipboard dots from Carta Bella for embellishment.
I chose the tag as my theme and adhered it onto the card. Finally, I decorated card with some black outline flowers and butterfly embellishments.

Third card, I showcased the adorable July Summer Banner cut file. Since the background is dark color (from Let's Flamingo Paper by American Crafts), I decided to back the cut file with light pink and orange colors. Then, I decorated the card with fussy cut floral, HKC Exclusive floral die cuts and chipboard sunglasses from Carta Bella.

Traveler’s Notebook using Hip Kip Club July kits

Hi everyone, Its Wei Wei here with this Traveler’s Notebook layout using beautiful July pocket life kit, paper kit, and cut file. I am seriously LOVING these pretty and soft colors.

First, I chose a journaling card as the background of my left side page. Then, I put two pictures on it.
I wanted to showcase the circle cut file on the right side of page, but I found the background is too white to make the white cut file pop up, so I decided to add pattern papers to bring in some pink and orange colors. And that colors are matched with the left side page.

I tore that pattern papers into stripe pieces, layered them and added a little bit hand stitching. For the circle cut file, I cut it apart and layered them together. Then, I adhered it to the background with foam tapes for getting dimension and making it pop against the white background.
For the finishing touch, I decorated the page with some embellishments.

I also made a process video: https://youtu.be/LYzBJ-iGkfg

layered cards using Hip Kit Club June kit

Hey everyone, it’s Wei Wei here! I’m excited to be sharing three cards with you today.
I love that Hip Kit Club June main kit , Embellishment Kit and Pocket Life Kit have so many amazing products that have many texture pattern papers and dimensional embellishments.
Cards are very easy to put together and they are perfect for celebrating the special occasion!
There are so many ways that you can do to create dimensional cards. You can add different kinds of stickers, such as chipboard stickers and puffy stickers.
For these cards, I not only used “layering” technique, but also added a 3D heart to get more dimension and interest.
For the first card, I created a watercolor background with Lindy’s Stamp Gang from June 2019 Color Kit . Once the colors dried, I layered flowers and leaves die cuts. The 3D heart is super easy to make. I just fussy cut four hearts from American Crafts Vicki Boutin Hearts Paper, and I folded all hearts in half, applied glue on the heart halves, and then adhered them together. I also added a bit of hand stitching to the center of the heart.
For the second, I layered some background papers and used the puffy alpha stickers to create the dimension and the title. The 3D heart and butterfly sure added the dimension too! I also added the black sentiment stickers to tone down the colors.
For the third, I started by creating the background with layering two pattern papers and adding some hand stitching. Then, I adhered the flowers embellishments and put a piece of mesh fabric above.
Mesh fabric is a fun element I love to use. It can add a little delicated texture on the card but would not make the main theme lose spotlight. Furthermore, it can balance the all color tone on the card.
Then, I added 3D heart, chipboard sticker, puffy stickers and bird embellishment to finish off.
I just love how these cards turned out. I hope this have inspired you to use the Hip Kit Club June kit to make your own cards.
