DAY 2 STAMPlorations Birthday Blog Hop

Hi, everyone.
Welcome back to join our happy STAMPlorations Birthday Blog Hop Day 2!!!

Today I would like to share my DT card using PartyGirl with you.

The gorgeous party dress is very eye-catching! I decided to display the dress on my card.

First, I stamped the girl's body with black ink, and also stamped the sentiments on the background by masking the body.

I created two-layered party dress to emphasize the layer and dreamy fluffy skirt.
I heat embossed the dress in white, colored with Zig real brush pens(pink, dark pink, light carmine) and fussy cut. I did this step twice, so I got two skirts. I then glued one skirt on the cardbase, adhering foams behind the other for the dimension.

STAMPlorations DAY 1 Birthday Blog Hop

Hi, everyone.
It's time for happy STAMPlorations Birthday Blog Hop!!!

Here is my DT card.

For this card, I showcased Party Mates stamp set. This Party Mates stamp set including some cute and fun party goods is very suitable for creating birthday and celebration cards.
First, I stamped cupcakes, gift, pinwheel and party glass with black ink, trimmed with scissors, and then colored with marker. I also die cut a stitched banner as a base of those party mates.

For the background, I blended some soft watercolor and heat embossed the spiral image in white embossing power.

Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge #150

Hi everyone, Welcome to another Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge
This week our theme is Photo Inspiration!

Here is my DT card.

I was inspired by the green splash on the wall, so I decided to add a splash effect to my card.
First, I applied some mowed lawn and peacock feathers distress ink on the acrylic block, added some water, and stamped that acrylic block on the watercolor paper.
This technique is very easy, those distress colors will blend itself, and you will get a great splash effect!

After that colors dried, I added some little flowers and leaves using green ton colors. I tried to arrange them to look like a wreath. I love those fresh green colors!

To finish my card off, I added a sentiment and embellished a green border on the right edge of the card.

Here is a closeup!

And our awesome sponsor is Sweet Pea Stamps. The winner will get 4 digis from the store.

thinking of you

Hi, friends!
Today I would like to share this flower card using Wplus9 watercolored anemones stamp set.

The sketch of my card is from Sparkle & Shine Challenge #7, and the flower theme is inspired by Wplus9 Throwback Thursday #5

For this card, I first used the bouquet image to create my background. I applied some inks on the stamp, sprayed some water, and stamped on the watercolor paper. I really love this technique. It's very easy to do, and the amazing watercolor effect always makes me smile!

In order to build a depth and layer effect of this card, I decided to let my theme more clear than background. I stamped my theme by using double stamping and layering. I also added some little element from fresh cut florals stamp set. Then, I die cut a circle as a base for those flowers.

To finish my card off, I embellished some sequins, and added a sentiment in front of those flowers.

One stamp, Three ways

I organized my photos and found these cards I created before for different styles using the same stamp (Avery Elle). I am trying to show how versatile this stamp can be...ha ha ha.

I decided to reorganize them into three groups, one is watercolor style, another is colored pencil style, the other is fussy cut style.

For the first group- watercolor style, I have two cards below.

Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge #148

Hi everyone, Welcome to another Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge
This week our theme is Holiday!
And our awesome sponsor is Stitchy Bear. The winner will choose 3 images up to $10.

And here is my DT card.

Today I’ve got a very easy layer card to share, which incorporates a fun watercolor technique.

I started by die cut the stitched banner, stamping that cute girl image with black ink, and coloring with watercolor pencils.

In contrast to my soft-colored theme, I decided to choose deep colors for the background.
I blended deep blue and purple watercolor together, also splashed some water for more interesting.

Here is a closeup!

Thank you for stopping by.
Have a nice day.

Happy

Hi friends, Today I would like to share a card with die cut and watercolor design.

I started by creating my background with watercolors.
For the die cut effect, I inlaid the stitched circle die from Pretty Pink Posh. After that, I positioned the "Happy" die cut above the inlaid stitched circle.
Because I wanted to build up some dimension for the word, I carefully removed the "Happy", and then built up three layers, gluing it carefully into the background.

The bunny from Avery Elle was colored with Copic, I also stamped the grass and a butterfly. To finish my card off, I embellished some star-shaped sequins.

Thank you for stopping by.

May all your weeds be wild flowers

Hello dear friends!
Today, I'm back with a flower card.
This STAMPlorations flower stamp set- Blooming Buds design by talented Deepti Malik is really gorgeous! I can't wait to try and show my card with you.

大家好, 又來到花卉卡片的時間。今天使用的印章來自STAMPlorations的Blooming Buds ,這組優雅的花印章,同時也是卡片界好友Deepti Malik的第一款設計。

First, I stamped some flowers and leaves with Memento Pear Tart Ink on watercolor paper. I then used glass green and deep green watercolor to create my background.

I also stamped flowers and leaves with on another white paper, and trimmed with scissor. Then, I adhered foams behind some of those flowers for the dimension.

To finish my card of, I heat embossed the sentiment with sliver embossing power, and added a few sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

STAMPlorations Monthly Challenge #20 (June)

Hello, friends! Welcome to STAMPlorations Monthly Challenge #20 (June)!

This month our challenge theme is Stamps & Washi !

Here is my DT card.

I would like to share this fun card with you.
I simply used ARTPlorations Stencils - Shutters and embossing paste to create my background. I remained the white color because I wanted to showcase the " old type" image.

Next, I stamped Old Type on kraft with black ink, and then I put the washi tape through the top of old type.

Hope you play along with us!

STAMPlorations sketch challenge 35

Hi, It's time to share another STAMPlorations weekly sketch with you!
Here's our fabulous sketch:

I have thought about how to play with Shutters stencil in different ways. I tried many times and wasn't satisfied with those projects until last Friday night.

First, I traced inside the Shutters using black pen, shifted the stencil slightly, and then applied seedless preserves Distress Ink. Therefore you can see those many fun geometric patterns.

After the ink dried, I randomly blacked some patterns for looking more dimensional.

Next, I added a black border beside the panel. One of the Trendy Feathers was made of vellum, the others were using Memento Lilac Posies and Grape Jelly Ink .

Finally I added the sentiment from Fond Expressions and embellished my cards with sequins.

Be sure to visit all of the DT’s blogs for more ideas and inspiration!
