【Interactive card process】Light up shaker card using Chibitronics ans Lawn Fawn - intermediate level 【機關卡片教學】創意LED發光卡片 +搖搖卡- 中階教學

Hi friends, I'd like to share this Chibitronics light up shaker card using Lawn Fawn sweet smiles
This card is very easy and quick to do.

First, I stamped the gumball machine image in black ink on my background. I also stamped the image on another paper and fussy cut out, and prepared a piece of white paper that size is as same as the bubble.

Next, I applied the copper tape onto the gumball machine and added three white LEDs. Then, I covered the circuit with the white paper. I punched three little holes so that the LED light can go through the paper.

For the shaker, I added a piece of clear acetate to the fussy cut bubble, so it became a shaker window. I added the shaker elements, such as gumballs which I cut out and colored before, as well as some sequins. Then, I sealed the shaker with foam tapes.

In this card, I made a removable battery holder cover. I chose the "main machine" as my battery cover door and then adhered velcro tapes to the back of "main machine" and my background. In this way, you can detach and attach the battery cover door easily!

To finish off, I added some Alphabet puffy stickers for my title and embellishment.

Here're some close-up looks.

That's all from my side today. Thanks for stopping by!

Mixed media Traveler's Notebook - Hip Kit Club

Hello friends! Today I'm sharing a Traveler's Notebook spread featuring mixed media and cut file. I am using the June 2019 Main Kit, Pocket Life Kit, Embellishment Kit, and Color Kit.

First, I used a HKC June 2019 subscriber cut file called Floral Clusters, and cut it from white cardstock using silhouette machine. Then, I colored it with Lindy’s Stamp Gang – Hottie Patottie Hot Pink from Color kit.

For my background, I used white paste and the Echo Park Paper's Floral Lace Stencil from the kit for extra texture.

Next, I adhered my photo, cut file, and just a few embellishments for Pocket Life Kit.

To finish off, I stamped my title using Heidi Swapp stamp and also added American Crafts Be Kind alphabet stickers for my subtitle.

Love the way my Traveler's Notebook turned out. Hope you feel inspired and will try out adding mixed media to your Traveler's Notebook.

Thanks for stopping by!

traveler’s notebook featuring Hip Kit Club June main kit.

Hey everyone, I’m excited to be sharing a traveler’s notebook layout with you today.  And this layout is featuring Hip Kit Club June main kit.
I loved the colors of the Heidi Swapp Bright & Bold Paper included in Hip Kit Club June main kit and wanted to focus on my traveler’s notebook.
I trimmed the graphic multi-color stripe from Heidi Swapp Bright & Bold Paper and also cut the black and white stripe down to my traveler’s notebook size. Then, I adhered the color stripe to the right side page and adhered the the black and white stripe on the left page.
The bright yellow stripes paper is the back side of the Heidi Swapp Bright & Bold Paper. I used it to make a pocket and layered it behind my photo. I thought this yellow pocket served as the pop of color on my layout, and also as a place for my journaling, because I decided to add a hidden journaling!
For the hidden journaling, I used the beautiful Color Fresh Collection Cardstock Stickers by Heidi Swapp (Hip Kit Club June main kit).
Then, I fussy cut tropical flowers from Simple Stories -Let’s Escape paper (Hip Kit Club June main kit), and arranged them around the photo.
I used the “sunshine” foam with foil Accents sticker (Hip Kit Club June main kit) for my title. For the finishing touch, I added embellishments to my layout.
Just love how this traveler’s notebook layout turned out. I hope this have inspired you to use the Hip Kit Club June main kit to document your vacation memories.

HIP KIT CLUB MOOD BOARD INSPIRED CARDS | WEI WEI

Hello Hip Kit Club friends!
Today I would love to share with you cards that I created with the very pretty June 2019 Main KitJune 2019 Pocket Life Kit and June 2019 Color Kit.
Cards are pretty easy to put together and they are perfect for any occasion! I am using the June mood board as my inspiration. Here is this month’s mood board.
To be honest,  I’m unfamiliar with the color palettes on this picture, and the modern vibes is also not my type! But I still like those fun patterns, such as the purple background on the top second, the black and white patterns on top right corner and bottom left corner. So I decided to use some patterns and textures on my cards.
The first and second cards I put together are pretty similar to each other.
The sketch I used is very simple but they look fun! Once you have a sketch in your mind, the design will come naturally as you put all the elements together.

Both cards have a vertical panel on the front.  I chose the Simple Stories yellow wavy pattern paper and American Crafts lattice pattern paper as my card base.  I have to say that the other side of American Crafts lattice pattern paper includes some journaling cards, banners, watercolor patterns, lined paper…they are so funky and cool! I cut out the lined papers with watercolor texture and phrase as my card panel.

Since both lined papers included phrase on it, I didn’t need to add other title. The only thing I had to do was adding different elements to my cards, such as bold color flowers, leaves, banner die cut,  and some arrow cardstock stickers and so on. I also added foam tapes for the dimensions.
For my third card, I use Simple Stories pastel-colored ombre paper as my card base. To add more textures, I put the Echo Park Paper stencil to the ombre paper, and then applied some purple and orange inks.
I arranged flowers, leaves, and butterfly die cuts, then added bird and phrase chipboard sticker for the finishing touch.

Thank you for standing by. Hope you feel inspired and will try out using this month’s mood board as inspiration as well.
