Happy Birthday to Shery!!!

Hi, friends! 

This special post is for my dear friend Shery, who is STAMPlorations owner and designer.

Not only is she a great artist and a leader for STAMP family but also a wonderful person.

I hope Shery have a wonderful birthday!

Here is my card for Shery.

To make this card, I inked background with butterfly stencil and light pink color. 

I also added stitched die for some interest.

Then, I heat embossed the flower in white, colored with ZIG real brush pens, and fussy cut.

To finish my card, I stamped the sentiment in black.

Light-Up Cards with Chibitronics and Studio Katia 手工卡片 搖搖卡

Hi friends!

It’s collaboration week with us Chibitronics and Studio Katia ! What a perfect partnership!

The collab week with Studio Katia is from August 14-18, so there will be many amazing projects showed at Chibitronics and Studio Katia blog in the next few days!

And I have two cards made for this great event! 

For the first card, I used Chibitronics Whire LED Stickers along with Studio Katia's You're So Ranunculus and Mini Thank You stamp set.

I put three LED stickers on each shaker's window. To turn on those LEDs with just one battery, I made a parallel circuit ! 

I made a cardmaking process video, so you could see the all details about my card.  You can watch the video tutorial here or on YouTube.

The second card featured Chibitronics Whire LED Stickers and Studio Katia's You're So Ranunculus stamp set.

I think the difference between this card and the first is the element I put in front of the LEDs.

Since the first card is a shaker, I used acetate. You can see the lights shinning through acetate clearly. 

For this card, I used vellum as my flower's base, so the light effect is misty!

HOW R U 手作卡片

Hi, Today I will be sharing this Hydrangea card.

  

I start by using ZIG real brush pens to make watercolor effect background.

For the Hydrangea, I also use ZIG real brush pens (green shadow, light blue, lilac, light violet, purple, and violet ), but I give them more deeper colors. After the colors dry, I die cut many little flowers. 

Then, I use foam tape to adhere those little flowers to my card base. I also glue some little pearls to the center of flowers.

To finish my card I add the sentiment.

Here is my DT card.

I started by creating my textured background using black ink. 

After the watercolor paper dried, I applied some salty ocean distress ink on the acrylic block, added some water, and stamped that acrylic block on the watercolor paper. 

Next, I stamped the flower(from MON AMI stamp set)with black ink, and colored it with Zig real brush pens. 

To finish off, I stamped the sentiment (also from (from MON AMI stamp set)).

Hi everyone! 

Welcome to Addicted to Stamps and More Challenge.

This week our theme is Clean and Simple.

My DT card is inspired by the rose photo!

I heat embossed the rose images on vellum, colored them with Copic, and cut them out.

For the background, I put stencil on white watercolor paper and applied some pink watercolor. 

After removed the stencil, the beautiful pattern showed out.

To finish off, I added pearls and stamped the sentiment. 

"Whatever you do, do it good"

My DT card is based on the theme (three lotus and three leaves).

I started by creating my textured background using black ink. 

 

Next, I stamped lotus flowers and leaves (from Lotus Love)and colored them with Zig real brush pens. 

 I cut the flowers and leaves with scissors, and adhered them with gum and foam tape.

. 

To finish off, I stamped the sentiment with black ink and also embellished some sequins on my card.

Here is my card.

I started by stamping the flowers with green ink and heat embossed them with clear embossing power.

I especially heat embossed two flowers in gold, and colored them with pink and dark pink ZIG clean color real brush pens.

Next, I used light pink watercolor to create the background.

To finish off, I stamped the sentiment on the gray banner, and decorated the card with some pearls.

My DT card is below.
以下是我的卡片

This card was made for one of my good friends who will get married next month. For Chinese culture, red, pink, and gold colors are fit for wedding and can express jubilant.

First, I die cut the circle lace and heat embossed in gold. Once the embossing done, I cut the apart, and glued them on both side of the white card. 

Next, I also embossed the flowers in gold, and colored them with Zig clean color real brush pens (pink, dark pink, red).

Finally, I added the sentiment and two pink pearls for some interest. 

這張卡片主要是想要送個將在下個月結婚的好友，所以選用了帶有喜氣且明亮的桃紅和金色。首先，我先用刀模機切了一個蕾絲圓圈(刀模來自貝登堡)，用金粉燙金之後，再對半剪開，分別貼在卡片兩側。建議直接用金色卡紙來切刀模，否則超浪費金粉的，誰叫我一時沒有金色卡紙呢。

主題花的部分，我是還是先燙金，然後再以Zig clean color real brush pens (pink, dark pink, red)上色。

最後，貼上燙金的恭禧字樣後，貼上兩顆粉紅色的珠珠當作點綴。成品細節如下：

Hello and welcome! Today I'd like to share this watercolored flower card with you.

大家好, 今日分享的卡片是水彩風格的花卉卡片。

For this card, I used the some soft and light colors, such as pink, green and blue from the photo of Sparkle & Shine Challenge as my inspiration.

First, I stamped some flowers and leaves (from Altenew) with black ink on the top of the watercolor paper. Once all stamping was done, I colored them with Zig clean color real brush pens (pink, light carmine, dark pink,green shadow, light green). I also added some blue shadow around the flowers (haze blue). 

To finish off, I added a sentiment (from Avery Elle) and some clear and white sequins(from Avery Elle).

這張卡片的顏色靈感來自Sparkle & Shine Challenge 的照片。

首先，我先用黑色印台蓋印一些花和葉子在卡片的上方。接著，以Zig clean color real brush pens (pink, light carmine, dark pink,green shadow, light green)上色。最近迷上吳竹出的這系列色筆，顏色豐富漂亮，不論是單純直接上色或當作水彩暈染，效果都可不錯。缺點是這筆的單價很高。在美術社買了幾支玩玩後，就託親友從日本帶回來其他色。

上完花和葉子的顏色之後，為了添加卡片整體的深度，便在花的四周暈染些淡藍色。整體來說，我蠻喜歡這類型帶有朦朧美感的卡片。

最後，再蓋印了黑色的字章，以及點綴幾片白色及透明的亮片，卡片就完成了。

Hello dear Friends! Welcome to another STAMPlorations Monthly Challenge. 

This month our challenge theme is STAMPS & FAVE COLOR COMBO or sketch challenge.

My DT card below was inspired by the sketch.

For this card, I used STAMPlorations stamp set - Bloom Factory along with Trendy Butterflies.

First, I heat embossed the flowers (from Bloom Factory) with white embossing power. I colored them with Zig clean color real brush pens.

I also die cut the flower vellum for more interest.

For the background, I wet the watercolor paper, and then added some soft colors using Zig clean color real brush pens(lilac, light carmine,green shadow, light blue).
