new year mini album 手工相簿

Hi Ladies!I am sharing a cute 10*12.5 cm Chinese new year mini album made with some Simple Stories, Citrus Twist products. 

This album showcases gorgeous and bright colors. 

I spent about 3 hours to get my album done. Here is an example:

First, I created the cover featuring the black lines paper and added some printable embellishments. I also layered a paper lace beneath the printable.

In the first page I added Feb calendar, on the other page I showed a photo that my parents and I took Gondola, and then I gathered some embellishments.

This page I placed a photo decorated with bike printable and chipboard. I made a vellum page with bus printable on the top and decorated with Alpha stickers.

I also made a plastic sheet embellished with printable. 

On the right page, I layered some papers and added hand stitching. The photo was decorated with alpha sticker and small label.

I named this pages "open door page" because both side pages can be opened and there are some surprises in it. 

This page has two photos.

I created a vellum pocket and put into photo. In the front, I added a little tag.

On this page, I added a project life plastic pocket page which was embellished with some square stickers and Alpha stickers.

December daily 2017 using traveler's notebook -part 2 / 2017年12月旅人手帳生活

Hi! I am back sharing a TN about our my December daily 2017. 

December is the most busy month of the year for my working although it's full of holiday and vacation vibes. 

I didn’t have lot of time, but still wanted to keep some daily memory for myself. 

I printed out some those photos and documented them in my TN.

I used lots of different elements to make my TN diverse. Felicity Jane kits, Citrustwist kit and Studio Calico are great accessories.

Beautiful living room scrapbooking with Chibitronics LED sticker

Hi friends, Today I have this super fun scrapbook layout made with Chibitronics LED sticker, Felicity Jane kit and Echo Park stickers, as well as Citrus Twist stamps.

I love the loving and cozy vibes living room on my layout!

First, I cut out a sofa and lamp shape with scissors and exacto knife and backed it with some pattern papers from Felicity Jane. Since I want to make the lamp light up, I chose patterned vellum instead of solid paper to layer the lamp.

I cut two holes on the scrapbook background, one is for LED lighting through and the other is for battery. Then, I drew the circuit sketch on another paper. 

Then it’s time to start putting the copper tape and yellow LED sticker down the pencil sketch line.

For the switch, I started off cutting the slit with an exacto knife. The mechanics attached underneath the "switch" is the thing that two squares folded in half, butting up against each other and wrapped with copper tape. That will bridge the gap in the circuit to turn the lights on.

As the photos show above, when the "switch" down, the copper tapes are connected to the battery, and the LED is lighting, and vice versa. 

I also tied two threads to the up and down sides of the "switch". In this way, the function of the threads just like the "switch" of lamp.

To make the thread which is on the up side can be pull easily, I added a curved straw beside the "switch" and make the thread through it.

Next, I adhered the lamp with foam tape to create dimensions. I also scattered embellishments and stickers around my page.

The lamp is turned on while pulling the left thread, and turned off while pulling right thread.

I layered my photo with some embellishments from Felicity Jane and Echo Park.

As a final touch, I stamped some sentiments from Citrus Twist.

以下是我為本次版型示範的旅行者手帳。

The first thing I did for this TN spread was created the background of right page with two patterned papers. 

You might notice that I did add some stamping on the patterned paper.

Then I layered the photo with papers, flower die-cuts, circle puffy stickers, and so on. I also added two stamping sentiments to the photo.

For the left page, I stamped the phrase "true story" in deep green and also added pink color layer to the "story" for the shadow effect. 

 I finished the page off with one heart puffy sticker.

首先，我用兩張美編紙來裝飾手帳的右頁。妳/你可能也注意到淺色美編紙上有些許的文字蓋印。
然後，我用了美編紙、花朵切割片、圓形的泡芙貼紙等，來裝飾我的照片，使照片有個多的層次。

接著在左邊頁，我用字母印章蓋印了"true story"。除了使用深綠色印泥，我也特別在"story"加上粉色的印泥，看起來有陰影的效果，顏色也可以呼應右頁。

最後，貼上心型的泡芙貼紙來為本次創作結尾。

My traveler's notebook 生活怎麼可以沒有手帳 / 旅行者手帳

Hi there! I am so happy to still be keeping my TN beacuse documenting daily life is so fun. 

Here are some spread about last week.

I am using gorgeous Citrus Twist Kits and stamps to create the this week.   I also take on the 2/25 Sunday sketch challenge on Citrus Twist Kits blog.

This spread is about my little tripe with family during the Chinese New Year vacation.

I used a full page photo on the left side of TN, and added some staming to the edge of photo. To add more interest, I also embellished one label and word die-cut. The stamps and embellishments are from Citrus Twist Kits.

For the right side of page, I added the beautiful sentiment from STAMPlorations. I really love it !
