Happy Chinese New Year

Hi friends, Happy Chinese New Year and I 'd like to share these two cards filled with Chinese New Year vibes.

For the first card, I used orchid stamp from Altenew. The color combo is from Altenew JANUARY 2020 INSPIRATION CHALLENGE.
I was so inspired by this gorgeous color combo and thought it was perfect for orchid.

Altenew-January2020-InpirationChallenge

I applied the ink to my stamps with sponge tools instead of putting my ink to the stamps directly, so I can make my stamping more soft.
I love how this card turned out.

For the second, I heat embossing my peony and leaf in gold onto red panel.
Because I wanted to put spotlight on my peony, so I just gave peony some colors.
I colored peony with watercolor pencils.

No line coloring card using Altenew

Hi friend, hope you have a wonderful holiday.

I bought some Copic markers and decide to practice my Copic coloring technique. And I worked with my old Altenew flower stamps... and still enjoyed using them to my card.

Here’s my result.

I love these gorgeous layered rose images. I usually stamped them with pink combos, so I want to try some different colors. As you see, my colors are purple, blue, and gray. I love how they turned out.

That’s all from my side today.

Altenew Hydrangea card 手作卡片

Hi friends,

Today I would like to share this Hydrangea card! Hydrangea is my favorite flower, I love it gorgeous flower shape and elegant colors.

I used Altenew Hydrangea layered stamp to create this card. I have to say this stamp is beautiful, but it need to practice! Ha ha ha, because I did struggle a little to line up everything perfectly. I really love the way the two inner layers (although they look very similar) give a beautiful and subtle layering effect.

After finished my stamping, I also used copic markers to add some shadows.

Here is the result:

One stamp set, two cards using Altenew 手作卡片

I've been trying out my newest Altenew Snapdragon stamp set this morning, so I would like to share two of my results that uses one stamp set and die cut.

For the first card, I stamped the layered image on white cardstock.

Once I was done stamping the image, I cut the flower with coordinating die.

The background was cut with Altenew die. Next, I took one of the side-folding cards and adhered the die cut background to it.

I also cut the frame and panel using STAMPlorations die, and I added some light grey solid flower stamping onto the panel.

I mounted the panel onto the card front with foam tape, and adhered the frame around the panel.

Then, I mounted the cut out stamped flowers onto the panel with foam tape to get some dimension.

To finish, I stamped the sentiment in black on the panel.

For the second, I tried to stamped the image with pink and purple colors and cut out with coordinating die.

I made a card base out of a geen cardstock and added the panel and frame to it using STAMPlorations die.

After that I adhered all flowers onto the panel.

To finish, I stamped the sentiment onto the vellum and adhered it to the flower.

One stamp set, two projects

I got some new stamps recently, one of them is Altenew build-a-flower: Hellebore.

I used this gorgeous floral stamp set to create two projects, one of traveler's notebook, the other is card.

For this traveler's notebook, I took on the altenew SKETCH CHALLENGE #17

I first added a bit splash stamping onto my page.

Then, I arranged those layered flowers to flower wreath, and added leafy garland die cut for some interest.

To finish, I added my photo and embellished puffy stickers.

I really love the colors.

Iris

It's Sunday and time for my craft time.
Here's my card. I used the sketch over at CAS(E) This Sketch #275 and the color palette at ALTENW June 2018 Inspiration Challenge as the basis for my card too:

I chose Iris as my theme since when I see the color palette at Altenew at the first time, Iris comes to my mind.

I first heat embossed the Iris in white and colored with Zig real brush pens.
To take on the sketch from CAS(E) This Sketch, I cut a purple panel and die cut a circle.
I adhered the panel with foam tape and arrange Iris on it.

I finish off my card with a "congrats" lable.

love + Traveler's notebook spread 手作卡片 旅行者手帳

Hi friends, Here's quick post to share one card and one Traveler's notebook spread.

For this card, I especially use bold red colors to celebrate Chinese New Year.
I first embossed the flower outline in gold and added layering inking with pink and red colors.

Next, I adhered the panel to the center of the card, adhered the glitter "loved" die- cut, and stamped the sentiment in black.
Then, I arranged those flowers around the panel.

To add some interest, I embellished some leaves, bird and butterflies.
