Iris

It's Sunday and time for my craft time.

Here's my card. I used the sketch over at CAS(E) This Sketch #275 and the color palette at ALTENW June 2018 Inspiration Challenge as the basis for my card too:

I chose Iris as my theme since when I see the color palette at Altenew at the first time, Iris comes to my mind. 

I first heat embossed the Iris in white and colored with Zig real brush pens. 

To take on the sketch from CAS(E) This Sketch, I cut a purple panel and die cut a circle.

I adhered the panel with foam tape and arrange Iris on it.

I finish off my card with a "congrats" lable.

This post is a reminder for STAMPlorations sketch and theme Challenge #48.

This month our challenge theme is STAMPS & GOLD

SKETCH

Here is my card using Using Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies, Stitched Spring Landscape - CUTplorations and Kathryn and Christmas. 

First, I created the North light background with watercoloring on watercolor paper.

After colors dried, I embellished the border with Crazy Double Running Stitch Rectangle Nesting Dies. 

I also sprinkled some sliver embossing powder on the background and heat embossed it.

Then, I created the front landscape using Stitched Spring Landscape - CUTplorations. (Opps! I found the die cut's name is "spring" , but my theme is "winter" ! hahaha )

I added Kodomo Popcorn Pen to the trees and house for snow effects.White Popcorn Pen is very easy to use. After applied the pen, blasted the area with a heat gun, and it puffed out like magic.

To finish off, I stamped the sentiment from Kathryn and Christmas in black.

Challenge rules:

Today, I have a card to share that I made for CAS-ual Fridays Challenge 188.

The supplies I used are CASUAL COMFORT stamp set, FUNKY FLAKES.

I started by creating my background with some blue watercolor.

After colors dried, I cut snowflakes using FUNKY FLAKES on the background and then used inlaid die cut technique. 

I also layered some snowflakes to the snowflakes which were inlaid in the background.

Then, I heat embossed the sentiment from CASUAL COMFORT in white.

To finish, I added some pearls for embellishment.

Today, I have a card to share that I made for  CAS-ual Fridays Challenge 184.

Here's my card:

I decided to use PRETTY POSIES and the coordinating POSIES FRI-DIES to make my card.

I first heat embossed the posies with clear embossing power on my background.

To take on the sketch of our challenge, I heart embossed the posies with gold and cut the out with coordinating POSIES FRI-DIES. 

Next, I colored posies with GANSAI TAMBI starry watercolors. The colors are stunning on black paper!

To finish off, I added a piece of black and adhered a die-cut word "hope" using HOPE FRI-DIE.

Still smiling WATERCOLOR CARD 手作卡片

Hi friends, 

Today I have a card to share:

I just love this gorgeous bloom from STAMPlorations, so decided to use it to make my card.

I heat embossed my flowers in white and colored it with ZIG real brush pens.

I also added some soft colors on my background. After colors dried, I use FINE TRIMMINGS DIE from Mama Elephant to create the stripe effect.

Next, I adhered the flower cut out with scissors to the right side of my card.  

To finish off, I stamped the sentiment from Felicity Jane in black.

CFC183 SHAKER CARD 手工卡片

Hi everyone! Happy Friday! 

Time to another CAS-ual Fridays Challenge.

Our challenge theme is SHAKER CARD!

Here is my DT card showcasing PRETTY POSIES stamp set and 4 PETALS FRI-DIES.

I started by adding some light purple watercolor to the white panel.

After watercolor dried, I cut some flower-shaped windows with 4 PETALS FRI-DIES and cut a piece of clear acetate larger than the shaker windows. Centered the acetate over the back of the windows and adhered the acetate to the cardstock. Then, added foam tape around the windows, removed the backing from the foam tape and added many embellishments and sequins fill in the center. 

Next, I colored some die-cut flowers with ZIG real brush pens. Arranged die-cut flowers around the windows and adhered with foam tape. I also stamped some leaves from PRETTY POSIES in light green.

To finish off, I added some pearls to the center of flowers and stamped the sentiment from PRETTY POSIES in black.
